Hi, I’m Magalí!

I’ve always wanted to combine science and design. I found exactly that in Interaction Design, which I study at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd: if you design the interface between people and machines, you have to understand both. I see a lot of future in that, and it’s where I want to work.

What excites me most is the moment an idea leaves the screen: a sketch becomes a cardboard model, the model becomes a prototype with potentiometers and motors, and eventually it becomes something people understand without explanation. I built almost all of the IOCON controller myself, and on sola. I developed the indicator clock. I enjoy designing interfaces just as much, like the WarnWetter redesign or the game UI for Most Scuffed Golf, which I designed as a freelancer.

In a team, I’m usually the one who keeps things moving. And if it makes a project better and more meaningful, I’m happy to pull a night shift in the prototyping lab or at my laptop.

Outside of uni I illustrate, play video games and like to dig into science topics. I’m one of those people who always want to be learning something new.

Looking for someone who doesn’t just sketch ideas but also builds them? I’m looking for an internship from March 2027 in Munich or Stuttgart.
